Stanford Home-Based Senior Care (HBSC) Evaluation
Project Summary
The Stanford Home Based Senior Care (HBSC) program’s goals were to support quality of life and functional independence in homebound patients, reduce their caregivers’ burden, and reduce their healthcare costs. This evaluation examined the effect of the program on patient and caregiver outcomes as well as identify the optimal HBSC service design. We collected data using both qualitative and quantitative methods, including structured surveys for both patients and caregivers and semi-structured interviews with a subsample of participants.
For any questions or further information related to this evaluation, please contact Anna Sophia Lessios (aslessios@stanford.edu).
Funding
